实际使用上往往无法分清(其实汉语里也是这样的,说一个人是“神经病”和说一个人是“神经病患者”是一样的),但如果仔细抠的话还是有点差别的:
1. He was diagnosed as having cancer.
2. The cause of death at the time was diagnosed as ‘cerebral disease’.
3. He was diagnosed with a mental disorder.
能理解了吧?如果用diagnose as,那么前面是人,后面也是人,前面是病,后面也是病;如果用diagnose with,那么前面是人,后面是病。(但我查了一些语料库,混用的情况也很多,上面说的是最严格的规则)
