1.牛津将apparent解释为obvious,说明两个词没本质区别都是,easy to see,understand etc,美国传统词典更是,用 Synonym同意字来说这两个词,但剑桥的解释则认为apparent是able to see,而obvious是easy to see,这可以看出apparent没后者明显。
例如:
For no apparent reason the man opposite suddenly screamed.(固定用法)
They have a small child so for obvious reasons they need money.(固定)
2.词义没区别,但固定用法有点区别:
an apparent problem一个答案明显的问题
an obvious solution一个明显的解决办法
It's obvious/apparent that..很明显
It's becoming apparent...变的明显
apparent 不做宾语,而obvious 有with obvious annoyance
The reasons are not immediately obvious.(no apparent)
