some, any 的用法：
1. some, any译作“一些”，用作形容词或代词。都可以修饰或代替复数名词或不可数名词。
2. some的用法：
○1常用于肯定句。如 There are some pencils in the case.
○2当表示请求、建议、征询别人意见或希望得到肯定答复时，some可用于疑问句。如 Could you give me some help? / What about some coffee?
○3当后接单数名词，译作“某一个”时，some可用于否定句中。 如 I won’t play computer some day.
3. any的用法：
○1常用于疑问句、否定句、条件句以及if / whether引导的宾语从句中，译作“一些；什么”。如 Are there any milk on the floor? / I didn’t eat any rice. / If you have any good ideas, please tell me. / Let me know if you hear any news.
○2在以下情况下，any可用于肯定句中：
(a) 后接单数名词或不可数名词，译作“任何(一个)”时。如 You can buy these books at any shop. / Any time you want, just send for me.
(b) 在含有否定含义的短语中时。如 He left without any words.
综上所述，some, any均可用于肯定、疑问和否定句中。
○3any还可用作adv.，译作“稍微；丝毫”，常用来修饰比较级。如 Are you any better today? / He was too tired to walk any further.
many, much的用法：
1. many, much都可作pron.，译作“许多(人/物)”。在句中作主语或宾语。其中many代替复数名词，much代替不可数名词。如 Many of the students often go camping. (主语) / He has much to do. (宾语)
2. many, much也都可作adj. 译作“许多的；大量的”，在句中作定语。其中many 修饰复数名词，much修饰不可数名词。如 I have many friends. / He needs much information.
3.同其它的形容词一样，many、much也有比较级和最高级，分别是more和most，译作“更多的/最多的”。more, most可修饰可数/不可数名词。
4. much还可作adv.，译作“很；非常”，在句中作状语，用来修饰动词或形容词、副词的比较级。如 I like it very much. (修饰动词) / He’s much better now.（修饰比较级）
5. many, much的同义词组是a lot of / lots of。 但a lot of / lots of 通常用于肯定句，而many, much不限。
6.“many + a / an + 单数名词”译作“许多的”，作主语时，谓语动词用单数。其意义和“many + 复数名词”是一样的。如 Many a girl is clever = Many girls are clever.
7.常见词组：
(1) how many：译作“多少(个)”，后接复数名词或单用。如 How many (books) would you like?
(2) how much：
a.译作“多少”，后接不可数名词或单用。如 How much (food) did they have?
b.译作“多少钱”，后接money或单用。如 -- How much (money) is it? -- It’s twenty dollars.
c.译作“多么/究竟到什么程度”，单用。如 Show me how much you love me.
