For who has sight so keen and strong 因为谁的眼力那么尖，那么强
That it can follow the flight of song 可以跟得上歌声的飞扬？
Long,long afterwards,in an oak 很久很久以后，在一棵橡树上
I found the arrow, still unbroke 我找到那支箭，还没有折断
And the song, from beginning to end 而那首歌，从头到尾
I found again in the heart of a friend 我也发现藏在一个朋友的心中
If I can't stop one heart from breaking 假如我能使一颗心免于破碎
I shall not live in vain 我便没有白活一场
If I can ease one life the aching 假如我能消除一个人的痛苦
Or cool one pain 或者平息一个人的悲伤
Or help one fainting robin 或者帮助一只昏迷的小鸟
Unto his nest agani 重新回到它的巢中
